Impressive mid C19 Gothic. 2 side wings flank centre with stepped gabled centre with stone finial and kneelers to gable ends. 3 storeys. 2 windows to wings, of 2 lights, under dripmoulds, to top floor, casements, of 6 lights to 1st floor and on ground floor to right. Left on ground floor has double carriage doors, 4-centred head. Central section has 3 stepped lights, mullion and transom, beneath stepped dripmould, above 6-light mullion and transom, as to wings, above canted stone bay with mullion and transom lights. Door to side elevation.

Nos 3 to 19 (odd) and the Rose and Crown Hotel form a group, Nos 3 to 7 being buildings of local interest only.
