House. C16 with C19 alterations and extensions. Plastered timber-frame with
plain tiled roof. 1 dormer to left of centre. 1 ridge stack, 1 left-end stack,
2 stacks to rear. 2 storeys; 3 windows, glazing bar sashes. Central porch with
flanking columns and panelled doors. Block to rear, circa 1820, with bowed win-
dows and central panelled door and fanlight. This building was formerly the
Dower House of Clare.
