Chest tomb. Probably early C19. Limestone ashlar with white marble lid. Rectangular chest with diagonal buttresses in the shape of inverted fluted consoles. Flat lid with moulded edges with corner projections which are fluted as they curve down to the buttresses. The sides contain fielded panels, the two in the long sides separated by fluted pilasters. Moulded base and one-step plinth. The lid has a very worn inscription that is illegible in all but perfect lighting conditions. Plinth includes sockets for iron area railings.
