Curfew Cottage

II

House. Early C18, extended early C19. Flint with red brick dressings,
extended in flint with white brick dressings. Plain tiled roof. Two
storeys and hipped roof with stacks to left and to right. Three glazing
bar sashes and 1 horizontally sliding glazing bar sash on first floor, and
3 glazing bar sash and 2 horizontally sliding glazing bar sashes on
ground floor with door of 4 panels to right. The original house was left
half only, with blocked window panel on first floor and blocked door
surrounds now to centre left, probably originally a cottage pair with
roughly symmetrical front.
