9/2 Clitchbury Farmhouse

II


Farmhouse. Early C19. Stucco with dressed stone copings and
concrete tile roof with end rendered stacks. Three-storey, 3-
window north front. Two French windows to ground floor outer bays,
16-pane sashes to first floor, 12-pane sashes to outer bays of
upper floor and 9-pane sash to centre, all set within moulded
architraves. Central panelled door with rectangular fanlight and
lean-to verandah extending the whole width of the facade on plain
cast iron posts. Incised rustication to ground floor, side
pilasters, first and second floor platbands and plain parapet.
Tudor-arched doorway with plank door set in screen wall to the
left; contemporary panelled gate piers and railings to entrance
forecourt.
