Stable block and gate
piers to No 166
(The Poplars)

Early-mid C19. Stable block at right angles to roads with circular window in gable
having coped verge and moulded footstones. Coursed and dressed stone with slate
roof. 2 windows to south flanking large double doors. Gate piers about 9 ft high
with pyramidal capping.
