CHUTE UPPER CHUTE

9/93 The White House
II

House. Early C19, probably on earlier footings. Rendered brick
with slate roof. Two storeys, 3 bays. L-plan with rear wing on
right. Entrance between bays 1 and 2 opposite main stack. Open
gabled porch and 6-panelled door. Sixteen-paned sash windows
within deep reveals. Conservatory added beyond dining room on west
side, 1986. Banded brick stack. Various extensions to rear.
