Two cottages in row. C17 and No 21 a C18 or early C19 addition.
Timber framed with whitewashed brick noggings, thatched roof.
Single storey and attics, raised to 2 storeys. Bays 1/2 : 3 : 1/2 : 1.
Framing 2 panels high with heavy straight corner braces, set on
high brick sill, and raised by 2 panels in lighter timberwork
forming upper floor. Lobby entry plan with entrance in second bay
opposite stack, and under thatched canopy. Left half bay is a
brick laced flint addition, probably originally part of No 21.
First bay gabled, with light framing. Boarded door. C20 timber
and metal windows. No 21 occupies left added bay. Brick laced
flint and continuation of thatched roof. Boarded door and timber
windows to ground floor, small paned leaded lights to first floor.
Gable stack. Interior not seen, may be of interest.
