Dovecote. Late C17. Red brick. Plain-tiled roof, having open sided glover with
pyramidal roof to the ridge, and gable on the west side. Oblong plan. West side
wall has round headed recessed opening, with later English bond brickwork as
blocking. Similar arch to doorway in west wall with boarded door, repaired. Each
gable has flight holes each with a landing platform. Interior has over 1,000
nesting boxes.
