House. Said to be of 1803. Painted and rendered brick. Welsh slate hipped roof
with deep eaves; one brick and one rendered lateral stacks. Central staircase
plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Symmetrical east front has central round-arched
doorway with moulded and panelled surround. Raised and fielded panelled door
with fanlight. Shallow fretwork timber porch has bracketed moulded cornice. Late
C20 casements have moulded rendered surrounds; ground floor surrounds have
rosette frieze and cornice; central window is narrower. 2 similar bays to south
elevation. West elevation has mostly C20 fenestration. Interior: entrance hall
has panelled segmental arch dividing it from staircase with open string, stick
balusters and wreathed handrail. Corresponding segmental arch to first floor
landing. Panelled shutters. Chimneypieces are mostly replacements.
