2 small houses. Probably early C18. Coursed marlstone rubble with wooden
lintels; thatch roof with brick stacks. 2-unit plans. 2 storeys. Curving
4-window front has, in bays 2, 3 and 4, renewed 3-light casements at ground
floor and 2-light casements above, plus the entrance to Middle Corner Cottage
between bays 3 and 4; first bay has only a small window at intermediate height.
Steep-pitched roof has stacks to right of bays one, 2 and 4, and has a lower
ridge to bay one. Rear of Turret Thatch has a rounded stair projection. Interior
not inspected.
