Former barn. Probably late C17 or early C18 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed on sandstone rubble plinth with red brick infill, partly rebuilt in mid-C19 red brick, machine and plain tile roof. Two levels; framing: square panels, three from cill to wall-plate with long straight tension braces; the former threshing entrance has been blocked with light timber framing probably C20 and red brick infill; scattered mid-C19 openings, some with segmental heads, and eaves hatches to west side.

Interior: Queen post roof in five bays with staggered purlins.
