House, now shop. Mid-to late C18, incorporting an earlier core.
Red brick, incorporating some timber framing. Plain tile roof. Two
storeys. Integral brick end stack to left add C19 external lateral
stack at rear. Two-window front; segmental-headed 2-light wooden-framed
metal casements. Inserted narrow C20 ground-floor window to right.
Segmental-headed half glazed door off-centre to right. Timber-framed
rear wall. One-storey lean-to at rear. INTERIOR: some surviving
framing including corner posts with joists and square-panelled left-
hand end wall. Ground-floor room with chamfered spine beam and plain
joists. C18 winder stair including landing balustrade with turned
balusters. Included for group value.
