Large C18 red brick house with earlier core. Plain tile roof with stone coped
gable ends. Parapet and moulded modillion cornice. Three storeys and basement.
Five bays. Three bays on first floor blocked. Sashes with glazing bars and plain
lintels. To right of centre a doorway with C19 moulded architrave and cornice,
flush panel door and flight of steps with original iron balustrade. Large end
brick stack with diagonal shafts.
Interior: early C17 dog-leg staircase with pierced baluster newel, pierced slat
balusters and moulded string and handrail. Room with C17 panelling, C17/18 cornice
bolection moulded chimney-piece. Another room has moulded cornice and C17 stopped
chamfer ceiling beam.
