II

Farmhouse. Early to mid-C18 with later additions and alterations. Uncoursed
limestone rubble; machine tile roofs. T-plan with range at right-angles to rear
on right of main range. 2 storeys; all C19 casements with wood lintels to main
range, except lower left which has slightly cambered voussoirs, one directly
below eaves to left and 2 to right; same arrangement to ground floor plus narrow
window immediately to right of blocked doorway to right of left window. C20
glazed door between 2 right windows. Ridge stack with dripstone and red brick
capping immediately to right of centre and similar integral end stack to left.
Slightly projecting range with steeper roof pitch to right has C20 casement with
wood lintel to ground floor and integral end stack with red brick shaft to
right. Contemporary twin-gabled range at right angles to rear on right of main
range. Interior: not inspected at tine of resurvey (April 1987) but noted as
having chamfered ceiling beams to ground-floor rooms.
