Late C19. Wharfe Lane elevation of brick timber and part tile hung.
Half hipped roof with flat top. 1 storey brick rear extension with parapet.
River elevation has ground floor with sandstone facade, 1st floor C19
timbered facade under steeply pitched, tiled roof. Irregular plan with
gable end to south and sexagonal feature with pyramidal roof to north.
1st floor, 4 windows and balcony supported on large brackets. Ground
floor boathouses with round arched doors in centre and additional side
doors.

No 1 forms part of a group with Nos 25 to 29 (odd) Thameside and No 88
New Street and the surface of the courtyard behind No 88. It also forms
part of a second group with all the listed buildings on Wharfe Lane.
