RCHM 273. Originally C17 but altered and converted circa 1935, to a "residence"
by one of the family of Rose Innes whose arms (3 molets and a Border checky)
are over a new porch. 2-storeyed rubble with an ancient red tile roof and
gabled attic dormers. There are 2 stacks with stone bases and brick shafts,
one having a cluster of 3 shafts. Modern casement windows. Interior: In
the ground floor is a stone fireplace with a 4-centred head and moulded jambs
and some (original ?) rough and ancient screens panelling. 1st floor not
examined but RCHM page 186b says there is here a fireplace similar to tht
on the ground floor.
