Early C19 very attractive asymmetrical facade. Red brick walls with grey
headers in alternate courses arranged in vertical lines. Flat, bracketed
eaves and slate roof. 2 storeys with 2 storey, canted bay;- moulded and
reeded window frames, additional window and yard entrance on ground floor.
Arched doorway with wide painted inset reveal and radial fanlight. 1st
floor has 3 additional windows including 1 blank above door. All sashes
with glazing bars.

The raised pavement and wall forms part of a group with Nos 5 to 19 (odd)
the South Oxfordshire Technical College Old School and Main Buildings,
Nos 43 to 49 (odd) and the wall and gate piers to former Paradise House.
Ancastle Cottage, Nos 2 to 36 (even) and the pavement surface in front
of Nos 2 to 36 (even) opposite. Ancastle Cottage also forms a group with
the entrance walls, piers and gates and the lower lodge of Friar Park.
