Farmhouse. C17, altered C18. Limestone rubble with wooden lintels; Welsh-slate
and concrete plain-tile roofs with rubble-and-brick gable stacks. 3-unit plan
with service wings. 2 storeys plus attic. Front has a central 6-panel door, a
3-light casement to right, and a 2-light casement to left, plus 2-light
first-floor windows in bays 2 and 3; most lintels are stop-chamfered. Left gable
wall has a large chimney projection, partly concealed by a short outhouse range.
A short 2-storey kitchen range returns from the right. Rear of main range has
larger casements including, at first floor, an elaborately-moulded 4-light
window retaining its central ovolo-moulded mullion. Interior: heavy
stop-chamfered beams, some intersectng; open fireplace with curved back; spiral
stairs to both upper floors; moulded-plank door. Fewcott was formerly in the
Parish of Stoke Lyne.
