4/12 Stable block at Hook Norton
Brewery.

GV II
Stableblock. Datestone JH 1894. Coursed regular ironstone rubble. Welsh
slate roof. L-plan. Single storey plus attic. Main elevation has 5 stable
doorways with rectangular overlights. Plank doors. Windows on ground floor:
wood mullioned and transomed with arched blue and red brick voissoirs. Similar
voussoirs to doors. Range of 6 wooden sashes, centre hung on first floor, have
wooden lintels. 2 gable front dormers have loft doors below. C20 garage
extension to left wing partially obscures detail to stable which is similar to
main elevation. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
