Lodge. Early C19, with later C19 addition to right. Ashlar
with canted and hipped stone slate roofs and stone hips; ashlar
dressings; timber eaves, 4 centrally grouped diagonally set
chimneys. All windows have chamfered and rebated surrounds with
hood moulds. Single storey, 3 bays, cross plan. South front has
central canted projecting bay with 3 four centred arched lancets
with cast iron lattice glazing bars. To left, diagonally set
porch in return angle with coped parapet and four centred arched
door with hood mould. To right, double lancet. Left end has
similar double lancet. Right end has, to left, four centred
arched door with hood mould and to right, one double lancet and
one casement. Outside, dwarf ashlar boundary wall with chamfered
coping carrying fleur de lys iron railing. Pair of chamfered
square cast iron gateposts with square caps and ball finials;
pair of wrought iron gates. To right, pair of smaller posts and
small iron wicket gate.
