8/169 Old Town Farmhouse


House, c.1790. Squared stone with tooled and margined dressings, stone slate
roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. 4-panel door under 3-pane overlight;
12-pane sash windows; all openings with alternating jambs. Right end stepped
stone stack, left end stack rebuilt in yellow brick. Similar fenestration
to rear; later single-storey rear wing. Interior; 4-panel doors, panelled
shutters, heavy bar behind front door.
