20/143 Garden wall, gate
and railings to
south of Old
Schoolhouse

Wall, railings and gate. c.1800. Ashlar and iron. Side walls approx
3½ ft high with roll-moulded coping. Tall square corner piers with cornices
and concave pyramidal caps. Low similar front walls topped by railings
with pointed standards, dog-bars, scalloped half-rail and top rail with
curled brackets. Broken in centre by gates in similar style.
