Derelict windpump, mid C19. Brick tower and remains of weatherboarded cap.
Tapering tower of 4 storeys. Door openings to north and south on ground floor.
Window opening on first floor, two window openings on cap floor with semi-
circular brick arches. Cap frame with sheers, tail beam, sprattle beam, head
stock and weather beam. Complete set of truck wheels and centering wheels,
worm and worm hangers. Cast iron windshaft, brake collar, wooden upright shaft
with cast iron wallower, crown wheels and pit wheel. Horizontal drive shaft
to exterior scoop wheel. Casting by W. England, Millwright of Yarmouth, dated
1895. Forms group with Hardley windpump.
