Circa C18. Said to be former counting house for mine. Small stone rubble building,
circular on plan, heightened or rebuilt at top in brick circa mid-C19. Two storeys.
Corrugated iron roof.
Inside: has fireplace on each floor and ground floor recess in wall said to be for
safe.
Immediately to south is the brick vaulted entrance to an ironstone mine, in the
hillside.
