Coach house and stables to Roundhay Park, now stores. Early
C19, altered C20. Possibly by John Clark. For Thomas Nicholson
of Roundhay Park. Ashlar, slate hipped roof. 2 storeys, 3
three-window bays. Quoin pilasters. Central pedimented bay
breaks forward, 2 elliptical carriage arches to ground floor
(later glazing), weathered ashlar plaque in moulded surround
above eaves band. Flanking bays have arcaded ground floor with
3 doors left, windows flanking a central door right. Windows
all square with plain sills and lintels, later 2-pane frames.
First-floor and eaves band, large central clock tower and
cupola with Tuscan columns and ogee dome with elaborate
wrought-iron wind vane.
