Gate lodge. 1843. By Ignatius Bonomi. For John Marshall and
Company's flax mill. Ashlar. In Egyptian style to match the
Temple Mill (qv) to south. A low rectangular single-cell
building with entrance (blocked) on the east, road side. Heavy
moulding to corners and eaves, deep coving damaged on north
side, flat roof; short length of linking wall to a pylon-type
shaft with recessed panels on west side.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
