639-1/8/109 Garden walls and railings to
Provost's House and No.4 Churchyard

GV II

Garden walls and railings to Provost's House (qv). C18 and
early C19. Cast-iron, red brick, flint and stone rubble with
brick dressings. Across the front of the house cast-iron
spearhead railings are set on a low brick plinth. To each
side, a short stretch of plain high red brick wall. The walls
to the rear garden, approximately 33 metres along the sides
and 64 metres along the back, may be older than those across
the front and are mainly in flint rubble.
