Italianate suburban villa. c1850, stable wing converted to
separate dwelling later C20. Rusticated render; grey slate
roofs.
6-panel door in round archway with blank fan at left and of
projecting one-storey wing, right; 2-storey main block with
tower one storey higher. Most of broader windows have quadrant
upper corners, narrower windows round arches. Ground floor has
a rectangular sash, a range of 2-pane lights. The 1-storey
right wing has balcony, cantilevered on ornate wrought-iron
brackets, left; wrought-iron railings; French doors to balcony
and above entrance; hipped roof to the 2 bays left of entrance
has boldly projecting boxed eaves on ornate brackets to hipped
roof; simple pediment to French window above entrance. A pair
of round-arched 2-pane windows in second storey of tower,
which has hipped roof detailed as that to main block. Coach
house and hayloft, left, converted to cottage.
