Town house. c1780. Flemish bond brown brick with grey slate
roof.
3 storeys. Painted stone plinth has barred opening to cellar;
2 stone steps to replaced door of 6 fielded panels, east;
doorcase has fluted pilasters and pediment with reeded frieze;
2 almost flush sashes, now of 4 panes, to each storey, the
sash leaves to the third storey being unequal; painted stone
sillband to second storey; painted stone sills and cambered
rusticated wedge lintels with reeded false keystones; cornice
with reeded frieze; 2 west chimneys.
The rear has a tall window of 27 panes, east, a small
one-storey monopitch outshut, west, a flush sash now of 4
panes and a small inserted recessed 4-pane sash to the second
storey and a 12-pane flush sash to the third storey; the stair
window and those to the second storey have painted stone sills
and cambered brick heads.
INTERIOR could not be inspected.
