Pair of terraced houses. Early C19. Brick with parapet, banded
stucco ground floor and basement to No.86, painted ground
floor to No.85; stucco dentil cornice above 2nd-floor windows.
4 storeys and basement, 3 bays each. Doors recessed in
round-headed arches. 1st-floor casement windows in
round-headed recesses with stucco impost blocks, No.85 with
balcony. Other windows square-headed sashes, those to ground
floor boarded-up.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: cast-iron railings to steps and areas.
Nos 85 & 86 form a group with Nos 75-78 & 81-83 (consec)
(qqv).
