TM 47 NW WENHASTON THE STREET (west side)

GV II

House. Mid C19. Small flint pebbles, white brick dressings with rusticated
window surrounds; slated roof. 2 storeys. Symmetrical facade with brick
pilasters to the quoins and either side of the centre bay. 3 window range,
inset sashes with glazing bars, flat arches with rustication; doorway with 4-
panel door, the upper 2 panels with stained glass, architrave with corner
roundels, frieze and cornice; brick eaves cornice. Hipped roof with crest
tiles to ridge; 2 stacks each with 4 tapering pots. Included for group value
and as a good unaltered example in local materials.
