Post. Circa 1861. Metal, four legged plinth with chamfered pier above. Moulded
capital and pyramidal top. city of London Shield cast in the capital band.
Lettering on front of pier reads :"CAP VIC 42".
A coal and wine duty post indicating the boundary at which tax was payable; that
on coal dating back to the 1660's.
