House and cottage, now all one public house. Mid C16, former cottage C18,
C19 and C20 alterations. Rendered, the C16 part timber-framed. Plain tile
roofs. On right, former cottage of 2 storeys, 1 bay, has ground-floor outshut
fronted by trellised porch with 4-panel door and 12-pane sash; on lst floor
a small-pane casement in flush wood architrave; external stack on right with
offsets. Main range of 2 storeys with attic, 3 gabled bays, with 4th C19 gabled
bay set back on left. Central bay is narrower and has C20 small-paned, ½ glazed,
double door below cantilevered, gabled, lst floor which has eared and pedimented
architrave to blocked window and pub sign on bracket. Flanking bays each have
a 2-storey, pent-roofed, canted bay with a 20-pane window in flush wood archi-
trave to each floor; 2-light 8-pane attic casements. C19 curvilinear barge
boards to all except central gable which has weathervane on orb surmounted
by figure in C18 dress. Central multiple-flue brick ridge stack. Single-storey
added wing projects on left under hipped roof. C19 extensions with Welsh slate
roofs set back on left and to rear. Interior not inspected.

Cottage. C18. Rendered exterior with plain tiled roof. End stack with offsets
to right. 2 Storeys, one casement window to first floor, one casement below to
ground floor right. Panelled door to left behind pentice roof trellis porch
across the ground floor.
