GV II

School, now drama studio and retaining wall. Circa 1870 in Gothic style. Random
Bargate rubblestone and blocks with ashlar quoins and dressings, plain-tiled roof.
Two storeys to right over plinth, one storey to left, all with retaining wall at
below basement level across the front. Gable end range to right with louvred
lancet opening in apex. 4-light window below under Tudor-style pointed-head with
trefoil tracery in upper lights. Stone-dressed ogee-headed 5-light window with
stone mullions in chamfered surround to left hand range. Octagonal turret to right
of gable on brown plinth with trefoil opening in each face. Further two windowed
range set back to right with C20 casement fenestration on both floors and door in
pentice porch in the re-entrant angle.
