House, now Public House. Mid-late C18. Whitewashed brick with plain tiled
mansard roof and tile hung ends. Two storeys and attics under three, flat-roofed
dormers, on rendered plinth. Large square stack, enlarged, to left of centre.
Three 16-pane, glazing-bar sash windows to the first floor, three 16-pane
cambered-head, glazing-bar sash windows below. Part-glazed double doors right
under cambered heads, similar doors to left under cambered-head and shallow, open
gable hood on brackets. C20 single storey, hip-roofed, whitewashed brick extension
to left. Right hand return front:- Three dormer windows in roof,two windows on
the first floor, one window between floors and one window on ground floor.
Double, half-glazed doors under C20 gable. Parallel single storey range across
rear.
