6 linked pairs of houses. Early C19. Amber brick with low
pitched slate roof behind coped parapet.
3 storey and basement, 2 bays with recessed 1- or 2-storey,
1-bay outer entrance links. Round-headed entrances with string
at spring. Doors with pilaster jambs (those to Nos 38-50
reeded), cornice heads and decorative fanlights (except Nos
52-60). Door to No.52 has later stucco arch with vermiculated
key. Flat, gauged-brick arches to sash windows, mostly with
glazing bars. Stucco band between ground and 1st floors.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: area railings to all but Nos 42 and 60.
