Terrace of 13 houses. Early C19. Yellow brick with parapet,
stucco ground floors to Nos 257 & 259 and all with stucco
basements; Nos 261-81 appear rebuilt.
3 storeys; 2-window range. Ground-floor openings round-arched
with stucco impost blocks; doors with fluted quadrant
pilasters and cornice heads. Decorative fanlights to Nos
259-263 & 267-271. No.257 has blocked up door in 2-storey
extension to left with stucco Doric porch. All windows sashes
with glazing bars, those on upper floors with flat,
gauged-brick arches. 1st-floor sill band and cast-iron window
guards.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: wrought-iron area railings with spearhead
standards.
