Perimeter wall. Late C18. Limestone rubble. Tall wall with interval buttress pilasters extends approx. 200m NE from the entrance to Morice Yard, returning for approx. 110m to the SE and broken by the former entrance to the yard which has wickets in ashlar sections with arched heads.
Formed the perimeter wall of the yard when it was extended in the late C18, and an important component in the security of the dockyard. Included as marking the extent of the late C18 dockyard.
