Terrace of 8 houses. c1845. Yellow stock brick with rusticated
stucco ground floors. No.11 upper floors refaced. Nos 11, 19 &
21, slate mansard roofs with attic dormers. Formerly
symmetrical terrace with slightly projecting end and central
bays, of which the south end bay (Nos 9 & 11) and the central
bay (Nos 21-23) survive.
3 storeys and basements. 2 windows each. Doorways with
enriched console brackets carrying enriched cornice-heads;
fanlights and panelled doors (Nos 9, 11 & 15, C20 doors).
Recessed sashes; Nos 9 & 11 with lugged architraves and
cast-iron balconies to 1st floor windows. Nos 13-23,
architraved sashes, 1st floor with console-bracketed cornices
and cast-iron balconies, 2nd floor with bracketed sills.
Parapets. Nos 13-17 with stucco cornice and blocking course.
INTERIORS: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached cast-iron railings to areas.
