Monument to Mrs Henry Wood, nee Ellen Price, d.1887. Large sarcophagus of pink granite based upon the Roman altar tomb of Cornelius Scipio Barbatus, set within cast-iron railings.

HISTORICAL NOTE: Mrs Wood was an immensely successful novelist best known for 'East Lynn' 1861.
