Chest tomb surmounted by a sculptured horse. c1853. Marble. Tall rectangular chest with stepped angles and projecting cornice surmounted by a sculptured horse, wearing a surcingle and bridle, and tree stump. Horse with broken legs due to vandalism at time of survey in 1995.

HISTORICAL NOTE: John Atcheler was reputedly horse slaughterer to Queen Victoria.
