Originally a symmetrical group of 3 cottages, but centre and
right hand cottage now form Vale House, Vale Cottage the left
hand cottage. Early C19. Stucco, Vale House weatherboarded on
rear (north) elevation. 2 storeys and 3 storey centre cottage.
5 window range. Square-headed doorways with hoodmoulds; Vale
Cottage with half glazed door, Vale House with plank door and
overlight, right hand cottage door converted to a window.
Recessed sashes; Vale Cottage with cast-iron window guards to
upper floor, Vale House with hoodmoulds to central cottage
upper floors. Vale House with circular tie plates and gable to
central cottage and parapet with elevated centre having a
blank shield shaped plaque. INTERIORS: not inspected.
