House. 1938-9. By Cautley and Barefoot for the Cranfield family charitable settlement. Part of a group of almshouses (qv). Red brick with plain-tile roof and brick ridge and side stacks. Vernacular Revival style. L-plan. 2 storeys of casements with leaded lights. Gable facing has 3-light over 4-light window. Single-storey wing to right has doors and 3-light. Further gables with similar fenestration to sides and rear. Forms a significant group with Nos.1-28 and 29-34 Cranfield Court and Lych-gate (qv).
