House. c.1840s, probably a recasting of a C17 house. Mass wall construction, ground floor roughcast, first floor stuccoed. Painted Dutch brick visible on left return; red brick on right return; slate roof; rendered chimney shafts with bands; one round chimney pot remains. Cast iron rainwater goods.
Plan: Double depth, 2 windows wide. Rooms heated by axial and front lateral chimney stacks.
Exterior: 2 storeys and attic. 3-window front. Stucco band runs between ground floor and first floor levels. Almost central recessed entrance with 6 panel door and rectangular overlight with one vertical glazing bar. 8 pane hornless sash window to left and 12 pane hornless sash window to right. Three 12 pane hornless sash windows at first floor level. Gabled attic dormer.
INTERIOR: not inspected but may retain features of interest.
