GV II

Barn, C18; extended C19 and C20. Coursed lias with chamfered black slag-block quoins. Clay pantile roof with stone-coped gable-ends with kneelers.
PLAN: 3-bay barn [6-bay roof] with cart entrance to midstrey on front of centre bay and smaller opposing door at rear. C19 stable outshut to left of midstrey and later outshut on right.
EXTERIOR: Large midstrey on centre of east front with hipped roof and slag quoins; C19 stone outshut to left with pantile roof and later outshut on right with corrugated sheet roof. End gables have loading doors with slag quoins. Rear [W] has centre doorway with slag quoins and ventilation slits to left and right. Plank double doors.
INTERIOR: 6-bay roof structure with tie-beam and collar trusses and tenoned purlins, the collars with dovetail halved and lapped joints. Loft floors inserted into either end. Cider-press from Manor Farm, Kelston.
