Woodvale Cemetery: tomb of John
Frederick Ginnett

Tomb of the Ginnett family, particularly John Frederick
Ginnett, circus proprietor, approx 150 metres west of the
Woodvale crematorium (qv). c1892. Granite, Portland stone and
another stone. Base of granite with rock-faced rustication
surmounted by granite posts and chains. Tomb in the form of a
Portland stone plinth with apsidal ends, the broad faces
divided into panels by Ionic pilasters supporting a
lozenge-patterned frieze, the whole surmounted by a figure of
a pony.
