House. c1700 with C19 and C20 remodelling. Painted brick with
partly timber-framed attic, pinkish-brown brick stacks and
plain-tile roof. L-shaped on plan.
EXTERIOR: single storey with attic, 2-window range, one to
each arm. Entrance to advanced right part has plank door in
moulded wood frame under elliptical arch. To right a canted
bay window with C20 wood casements with glazing bars, to left
a 2-light, C20 wood casement under elliptical arch. Attic has
small 2-light C20 casement with glazing bars, left part has
blocked window.
Small timber-framing to gable to right part. Half-hipped roof
to right gable; gabled roof to remainder. Tall internal stacks
with cornices.
Right return has 2 casement windows under elliptical arches.
Outshut to rear under catslide roof.
INTERIOR: reputed to have chamfered beams and fireplace with
chamfered bressumer. Plank doors with wrought-iron latches.
