House. C16/C17 with C19 alterations and additions.
Timber-frame with brick infill and brick; steeply pitched
renewed tile roof with brick ridge and internal stacks.
L-plan: projecting timber-frame wing to left and brick wing to
right; 2 wings to left return.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Segmental-headed entrance to right wing
has 6-fielded-panel door in moulded frame. Ground floor has
segmental-headed window to right of entrance with early C19
casement of 3 ogee-headed lights; similar 2-light casement
above; wing has similar 3-light casement to each floor and
small C20 gable window.
Square framing with braces and large square panel to first
floor of gable end. Right return has exposed braced tie beam
and small window with bracketed canopy.
Single-storey gabled extension to left return has cross-axial
stack and small first-floor light; exposed timber framing to
gable of wing to left.
INTERIOR: recorded as having exposed timber-framing and beams.
