18/03/97 2 chest tombs approx. 10m south of
south aisle of Church of St Peter

GV II

2 chest tombs. Late C17 and late C18. Ashlar. Chest tomb to
north has lozenge pattern to balusters, round-headed end
panels, and moulded slab edge; inscriptions worn but one
records William and Ann Badson, d.1690s. Chest tomb to south
has moulded plinth and slab edge; angle balusters and fielded
panels; inscriptions worn, but one records Richard Badson,
d.1792.
